SUMMARY:Flat Rock Brook's 6th Annual 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:Flat Rock Brook will hold its annual 5K "Run in the Wild" trail run on August 6th. The run begins at our visitor center and after a short street run enters the shaded and forested trails of our 150-acre preserve. The run provides participants with the uncommon experience of trail running through a nature preserve.\n\nOur 5K is sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association. \n\nI thought it was a wonderful event! The volunteers and staff were helpful and enthusiastic\, and the course was very pretty! It was a really nice event. I will definitely return next year and bring friends!\n\n 2016 runner survey respondent\n\nAdult (ages 18 +) registration is $25 per runner\, or $30 on the day of the event.\n\nStudent (ages 12-17) registration is $20 per runner\, or $25 on the day of the event.\n\nAll pre-registered runners receive a "Run in the Wild" t-shirt and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in various age categories.\n\nProceeds from the run support our preservation and education mission.\n\nRegister today!
