There are many churches that you could attend. Some are more attractive on the outside than others. Some have more entertaining music programs than others. Some are denominational while others are not. Some are more traditional while others are more contemporary. What you will find at Englewood Baptist Church is a group of caring believers who are committed to the truth of the Bible and concerned for one another’s physical and spiritual well-being.
Our Purpose
Our purpose as a church is to glorify God by promoting His worship, building up believers in their faith, declaring to all the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and showing mercy to people in need – all as we live in God-honoring peace with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. We aim to do this by:
* Worshiping God through Jesus Christ by the Spirit, publicly, privately, and in families.
* Studying and practicing the Bible's teachings about faith and Christian living that pleases God.
* Loving and caring for one another through fellowship, prayer, and practical expressions of kindness.
* Making disciples and bringing them to spiritual maturity through word and deed ministries.
